ADVENTURE GUIDES

Sea Kayak Guide – Juneau, Sitka Apply Now
As a Sea Kayak Guide, you will lead clients on a kayak tour on the Pacific Ocean. You may also serve as a deckhand on the vessel that transports clients (Sitka). You should be in good physical condition and prepared to work in inclement weather. Current CPR/First Aid certification required. If also working as a deckhand, pre-employment drug testing and enrollment in a random testing pool required.

As a Canoe and Kayak Guide you will lead guests on trips across Mendenhall Lake to view the Mendenhall Glacier. You should be in good physical condition and prepared to work in inclement weather. You may also assist as a shuttle driver. Current CPR/First Aid certification required.

As a river guide you will lead raft trips down approximately 5 miles of the Mendenhall River including a one-mile section of class II-III whitewater depending on water levels. You should be in good physical condition and prepared to work in inclement weather. You may also assist as a shuttle driver. Current CPR/First Aid certification required.

As a Hiking Guide you will lead clients on a nature hike in the Tongass National Forest. You may also serve as a deckhand on the vessel that transports clients to and from the hiking site. As a Jeep/Canoe guide you will lead clients on a backcountry Jeep tour on private logging roads and in 20 passenger canoes across Lake Harriet Hunt. You may also assist as a shuttle driver. Gold Panning Guide/Driver – Juneau Apply Now
As a Gold Panning Guide/Driver you will provide an entertaining narrative on the history of gold mining in Juneau. Once you arrive at the gold panning site you will instruct guests on methods of gold panning and assist as they try their luck at panning. You will need to provide your own wardrobe that should be apparel consistent with gold prospectors in the late 1890’s. You are responsible for safe loading, transporting and unloading of guests in a friendly, courteous, professional manner. A class A or B Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) with Passenger Endorsement, current DOT Physical Card, clean driving record, pre-employment drug testing and enrollment in a random drug testing program required.

  • Compliance with all DOT regulations

RV & CRUISE / RV RENTAL POSITIONS:

The following positions are associated with our Cruise & RV Packages. Positions available in Anchorage, Skagway, Seattle. Anchorage positions are full-time; Skagway and Seattle positions are part-time only.

Stocker: Restock, inventory and clean the interior of the RV.
Service Rep: Meet and greet incoming and outgoing clients, orient and familiarize them with the use of the RV.
Lot attendant: Wash and detail R.V.’s, general R.V. upkeep and maintenance tasks.
Housekeeping Supervisor: Supervise stripping, stocking and cleaning of RV’s.

RV PARK POSITIONS:

The following positions are associated with Anchorage RV Park:

Customer Service Representative: Check guests in/out, assign camp sites, take reservations by phone, email, and in person, promote sales of gifts, sundries and local area tours, assist with laundry from our RV Rentals.

RV Technician/Mechanic & RV Park Groundskeeper/Maintenance: General basic mechanical maintenance and upkeep of RV rental units, familiarize guests with operation of RV units.  General maintenance and upkeep of RV Park grounds and buildings.

RV Rental Detailers/RV Park Cleaners: Detailing RV Rentals inside and washing outside, stocking RV Rentals with personal/kitchen kits, cleaning RV Park Restrooms and Laundry Room.
