WORK IN KETCHIKAN

At the Ketchikan base, we have a staff of roughly 35 employees, and we primarily guide trips either on Betton Island, or at the inland Lake Harriet Hunt. Ketchikan is located on the west facing coastline of Revillagigedo island, where we get roughly 150 inches of rain each year. You’ll spend every day in the breathtaking temperate rainforest of the Tongass National Forest. When you’re not working, there are multiple spots in the area for hiking, trail running, and kayaking. You can go a short distance from town and see breathtaking views and watch Alaskan wildlife like bears, whales, and birds in their natural habitats, or book discounted trips with other tour companies on the island. At the end of the day, guides frequently have beach fires and camping trips to take advantage of the long Alaskan days
