The Experience

At the foot of the White Pass, beside a picturesque waterfall, lies Liarsville Gold Rush Trail Camp and Salmon Bake. This historic site is named for the journalists who once spun tall tales here during the Klondike Gold Rush.

Your adventure begins with a delicious, all-you-can-eat feast. Enjoy our signature alderwood-grilled WILD Alaska salmon, Cheechako chicken, Chilkoot baked beans, and Tongass wild-rice pilaf. After dining, step into the past at our gold rush-era trail camp. Stroll through the historic exhibits, take in the scenic waterfall, and soak in the authentic atmosphere. In the Hippodrome, our lively cast of sourdoughs and dance hall girls will entertain you with a hilarious melodrama and a poem by Robert Service, the “Bard of the North.”
